CNC machining equipment on our floor
This page walks through the cnc machining equipment we run, grouped by process rather than by machine count. We keep it functional on purpose: the question that matters is not how many machines we have but whether a process fits your part, your quantity and your tolerance. Our floor covers turning, Swiss-type turning, milling, multi-axis work, turning-and-milling composite work, drilling and threading, deburring, assembly and packing — with a milling envelope up to 800 × 500 mm on our vertical machining centers.
We machine aluminium, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, brass and copper and titanium on this equipment, from 50-piece pilots to production runs, and hold ±0.01 mm on the features that need it.
How a job moves through the equipment
A job does not stay on one machine. It moves in a short chain: your drawing is reviewed and quoted within 24 hours with DFM feedback, the part is programmed, the stock is machined to size, threads and other secondary operations are added, the part is deburred, finished through our vetted partner network, assembled if needed, and packed. Each process group below explains what that equipment does and when it is the right choice.
Equipment by process
CNC turning
Turning produces round, concentric parts: shafts, bushings, spacers, fittings and adapters, pins and similar rotationally symmetric work. It suits parts whose outside diameter, bore and faces must stay concentric, and it is the most economical route for round parts in any volume. Precision features are held to ±0.01 mm. For you that means round parts that run true and quote efficiently.
Swiss-type turning
Swiss-type machining is available for small-diameter, high-volume turned parts — long parts relative to their diameter, often in stainless steel or brass. It excels where a part needs tight concentricity and a high piece count. For you it means cost-effective precision on small turned components, without our publishing a diameter limit that may not match your drawing.
Turning and milling composite
A turning-and-milling composite machine cuts turned features and milled flats, slots or cross-holes in one setup. That matters where a milled detail has to relate to a turned diameter — a flat that must sit square to a bore, for example — because one setup removes the stack-up you would get by moving the part to a second machine. Quote-wise it also removes a second operation from the routing.
Milling (3-axis CNC mill)
Our 3 axis cnc mill equipment cuts flat faces, pockets, slots, holes and profiles into prismatic parts such as brackets, enclosures and housings, flanges and machine fixtures. A cnc mill axis count of three covers most prismatic geometry, and our vertical machining centers offer an 800 × 500 mm work envelope. Milling is the right process where locating surfaces and hole patterns must relate to each other precisely.
Multi-axis machining (4-axis and 5-axis positioning)
Where a part needs features on several faces, our multi-axis capability cuts it in fewer setups than separate 3-axis work. That reduces stack-up between features and suits angled holes, complex housings and parts that would otherwise need repeated fixturing. For you it means fewer setups and a tighter relationship between features on different faces.
Drilling and threading
Hole patterns, tapped holes and thread-rolled blanks come off this group. Threads are cut to the standard on your drawing — metric, inch or a specific thread standard — and thread rolling, where the part allows it, produces strong, smooth threads at production volume. This is also where machined blanks become custom screws, bolts, nuts and studs.
Grinding and wire EDM (partner network)
Grinding, wire EDM and similar special processes run through our vetted partner network under one quality process. They come into play when a feature needs a fine fit, a hardened material, or a sharp internal corner that a cutter cannot reach. Tell us the feature and the tolerance you need and we will confirm the route and the lead time in the quote.
Deburring and surface preparation
Every machined part carries sharp edges and chips from cutting. Deburring and surface preparation remove them so parts assemble cleanly, seat properly and do not cut the person handling them. It is a small step with an outsized effect on whether a batch is usable on arrival.
Assembly and light pressing
Where an order is more than one part, we can press, stake or assemble simple sub-assemblies before packing, so your receiving team gets a unit rather than a kit. Tell us the fit and the sequence and we will quote it as one line.
Finishing (partner network)
Anodizing, black oxide, zinc plating, nickel and chrome plating, passivation and heat treatment are applied by our vetted partner finishers under the same quality process. We manage the route, the masking notes and the return date, and we check the dimensional impact of the finish on threads and fits.
Packing
Packing is the last process and the first thing your receiving team sees. Parts are cleaned, counted and packed with the packing list and carton markings matched to the order, then photographed before dispatch — see quality documents and packaging and shipping.

General dimensions that your drawing does not call out are machined to ISO 2768-m. If a feature needs to be tighter than ±0.01 mm, we say so during DFM review instead of discovering it after cutting.

Frequently asked questions
Do you publish how many machines you have?
No. We list our cnc machining equipment by process group instead, because the question that matters is whether a process fits your part, quantity and tolerance.
What precision does each process hold?
Turning, Swiss-type turning, milling and multi-axis work all hold ±0.01 mm on the features your drawing calls out, with ISO 2768-m as the general tolerance elsewhere. Features tighter than ±0.01 mm are reviewed per drawing.
What milling envelope can you machine?
Our vertical machining centers cover an 800 × 500 mm milling envelope. Larger parts are reviewed against your drawing.
Can you machine features on several faces in one setup?
Yes. Our multi-axis and turning-and-milling composite machines cut parts with features on several faces in fewer setups than separate 3-axis work, which reduces stack-up between features.
Do you run Swiss-type machines?
Swiss-type machining is available for small-diameter, high-volume turned parts where tight concentricity and piece count matter.
Do you grind or wire-cut parts?

Can you cut threads?
Yes. We tap and thread-roll blanks into screws, bolts, nuts and studs to the standard on your drawing — metric, inch or a specific thread specification.
Do you deburr every batch?
Yes. Deburring and surface preparation are standard steps so parts assemble cleanly, seat properly and are safe to handle on arrival.
What materials does your equipment run?
Aluminium (6061, 7075), stainless steel (303, 304, 316L), carbon and alloy steel, brass and copper, and titanium.
Can the same equipment handle samples and production?
Yes. Sample work and production runs share the same machines and programs, so a 5–10 day sample is not a separate, slower queue.
What documents ship with the order?
A material certificate (MTR) and pre-shipment photos, plus the packing list and carton markings before dispatch.
